< Production >

Production increased year-on-year both in Japan and overseas in response to strong demand.

- Domestic production: Domestic production increased year-on-year, as production of the Impreza, Subaru XV and Forester offset a decrease in the Legacy and Outback

< Japan Sales >

- Passenger vehicle sales decreased year-on-year, as a decline in the Legacy and Levorg sales offset strong sales of the Forester which was facelifted in October 2015.

- Mini vehicle: Sales decreased year-on-year mainly due to a decline in the Stella sale

< Exports >

- Exports from Japan increased year-on-year, as shipments increased for most markets including North America, Europe, Australia and China.
